The Vines Hospital, located in Ocala Florida, is a premiere behavioral health facility located in picturesque Marion County offering specialized behavioral health care and services to individuals including specialty programs for active duty military and Veterans. We are currently looking for an Admissions RN to join our team of dedicated Behavioral Health professionals working with Adults dealing with psychiatric and/or substance abuse issues.
The Vines' Intake department is an exciting atmosphere where we help patients make decisions to seek help. In the Admissions department, we work together as a team, and form a united front in the fight against suicide. With 1 in 5 adults suffering from a mental illness, the Admissions RN must be able to adapt and flow to the ever changing needs of our patients. The Admissions RN will triage and assess people in crisis to help determine their treatment needs.
Hours: Three 12 hour night shifts a week (7:00 pm - 7:30 am)
Education: Associate degree in Nursing required. Bachelor s degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years experience in the mental health field preferred. Previous assessment experience required.
License: Licensed in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse.
Skills: Excellent communication skills. Ability to relate to those emotionally disturbed and in crisis.
Physical Requirements: Medium demand, mentally. Requires extensive time sitting, writing, and talking on telephone. Ability to assist in crisis intervention, physical intervention with out of control patients.
